Community Liaison Lead - Transportation Planning Specialist 5 
Develop, manage and lead WSDOT’s public transportation-focused community liaisons. The community liaisons serve as the WSDOT’s public transportation primary points of contact across the state. Set strategic and operational direction for community liaisons with a focus on building relationships with other divisions of WSDOT, local planning partners, and transportation providers. 

Grants Analyst – Transportation Planning Specialist 5 
Lead multimillion dollar state and federal public transportation grant programs and processes. Manage projects, engage partners, manage budgets and implement grant processes. The most successful candidates will have a strong understanding of federal and state grant programs, rules and regulations. 

Safety Oversight - Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Ensure that transit safety hazards are identified and addressed. Work with teams planning, designing, building and operating transit systems and services. Lead efforts to prevent and investigate hazards and incidents. Work with partner agencies to save lives and maintain public confidence. 

Performance Analyst (Data Systems) – Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Lead efforts to develop and steward data systems and processes. Engage teams inside and outside of WSDOT to develop and integrate data across organizations. On any given day, one might work with IT on a new data system, train staff on data protocols, or collect and process datasets. We are looking for someone who loves data with an attention to detail and an interest in developing data systems and establishing quality control practices.

Performance Analyst (Evaluation) – Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Lead efforts to quantitatively analyze and evaluate public transportation programs. Collaborate with teams inside and outside WSDOT to develop methods of evaluation. On any given day, one might develop a new method of evaluation, advocate for the use of data in decision making, or coach staff on how to use data analysis. We are looking for someone who can combine analytical skills, logical thinking, common sense and creative thinking to solve difficult and complex challenges.

Community Liaison – Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Serve as the primary point of contact for local transportation partners, including transit agencies, cities, counties, non-profits, planning organizations, advocacy groups and more. Manage projects, staff, contracts and budgets; administer grant programs that fuel community-based transportation; support civil-rights programs; and serve as an expert on the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VI, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Federal Transit Administration grant programs.

Public Liaison – Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Engage people in public transportation-related programs and issues. Collaborate with teams both inside and outside WSDOT; manage projects, staff, consultants and budgets; wrestle with policy issues and data; and interact with a wide variety of people from every corner of the state. On any given day, you might strategize with executives, plan a media event, update Web pages, write and pitch a blog story, and mentor staff. 

Integration Planner - Transportation Planning Specialist 4 
Support high-profile, complex policy decisions, public engagement and public information. Support an expert review panel that will review Sound Transit’s Long-Range Plan Update, conduct public outreach and work closely with local transportation partners, cities, counties, advocacy groups to support transit oriented development. 

Performance Analyst - Transportation Planning Specialist 2 
Facilitate the collection and analysis of construction project schedule and traffic impacts data from multiple WSDOT regions and/or local jurisdictions. Coordinate the exchange of construction project information. Conduct analysis of construction traffic conflicts considering all modes of travel. Develop materials that present quantitative and qualitative data to support informed decision making. Support efforts to develop and steward data systems and processes related to public transportation. Conduct data collection, quality assurance and control, analysis, storage, access and evaluation.
